Edward W. Ricci II, MBA, is a visionary business leader and investor with more than 20 years of experience guiding companies through growth, transformation, and profitability across industries including textiles, restaurants, real estate, entertainment, and medical cannabis. He is recognized for his ability to combine deep financial expertise with hands-on leadership, helping organizations thrive in competitive and often declining markets.
Ed’s focus is on being the Co- Owner and CEO of Ocean State Innovations – which he started with his partner in 2014. OSI is a large textile company selling military type fabrics to the DOD as well as fabric to international Militaries. Ed is also currently CEO and President of Ricci Investment Group LLC, and oversees a diverse portfolio of investments, including restaurants, commercial real estate, and emerging growth ventures. Most notably, Ed is the main financial and advisory partner behind the La Masseria restaurant group, where he was instrumental in the creation and expansion of all La Masseria locations. His financial stewardship and strategic guidance have helped establish La Masseria as a premier dining brand.
Ed’s earlier career includes decades of senior leadership in the textiles and manufacturing sector, where he specialized in business turnarounds, operational restructuring, and strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, the U.S. Military, and leading retailers. His efforts consistently produced multimillion-dollar revenue growth and earned him the Turnaround of the Year Award for his leadership in revitalizing another textile company.
Edward holds an MBA from Bryant college and BS in Business management from Boston College. He is admired for his integrity, financial acumen, and commitment to building long-term value. He continues to serve as a trusted advisor and partner to businesses across diverse industries, driving growth while maintaining a strong focus on people, performance, and profitability.
